Last year we had a very unusual heat wave in late January that led to an early blooming of all kinds of flowers. Give it a month, they'll likely be out in force then.

Oh they are out in force, I just saw a set driving home yesterday, they were just not where I was. That's one of the benefits of living in California and the reason for the yearly poppy album at this time! I love Poppies and I love that I can photograph them in Janurary and Feburary!!! Woo Hoo!!
