I bet she was just trying to spare the other kitty the lashing it would otherwise get. Nym's nails are something fierce, and she has strong foo.

Nym has discovered the hidden talent of tree climbing when she really needed. She however had huge issues getting down from the tree... this picture is pre-crying and branch breaking!

So, uh, Nym lost?

I don't think either cat won. The cat that invaded wanted out the second she got in but couldn't manage getting back up the wall she got down. She kept running into the spot that Nym was hiding and fur would fly.

The other cat finally made it out, but it wasn't pretty for a while... i opened a gate and tried to usher her out, but she wasn't taking the offer... to scared i think.
