I was going to mention you could maybe license your photos on egreeting.com (not egreetings.com, which has music-based e-cards), but it doesn't seem to exist anymore
It was free, and had beautiful natural imagery in the photos and graphics it offered for free e-cards- i think it was based in Northern Cal(???)
Thanks, thats a good idea to look into. I am planning to start printing a lot of my images into cards that i'll sell from my professional site as well as from the blogs. I hadn't really thought of egreetings though.
I might be able to set up one or two greetings that could be sent from my site. That might be too much work though. hmmm...
I'll look into it, thanks.
i think the site was called egreeting-- i wish i could find it again.
It had nature-themed photo-cards, and it was all online.
I recall too it was a nonprofit. It branched out into selling flowers online at a steep discount its suppliers gave the site, and also I think chocolates. I just remember that they offered the most beautiful images of any online card site, paid or free. I hope they still exist in some form!!! The last time I used them was about a year or more ago. Good luck!
Well, the domain name "e-card.com" is for sale if you want to buy it (i just saw it in searching for the site I remembered)...
Ecards.com? Egreeting.com? I'm sure the latter was it.
Found it!!!!!

It's my favorite image site bar none... I find their photos beautiful. Most of their online greeting cards are *still* free. It's a win-win site. It deserves to be better known.!!!
I don't know if they provide licensing fees or just publicity/exposure, but that would be such a natural fit for your photos--- they reminded me of the excellent ones there.
Cool, thanks so much. I really appreciate the leg work and the compliments. I will take a look at it by friday, and I'll keep you posted on what happens with them.
